Where are we?

We are located near Minsterley in Shropshire and our catchment area is roughly Shrewsbury, Telford, Welshpool, Bishops Castle, Craven Arms, Ludlow, Church Stretton and Oswestry although we have had dogs board with us from further afield.

Summer’s Here

Spring is now blending into summer. It is so much nicer walking dogs on a sunny day than when its cold and wet (although the dogs seem to enjoy both!).

We have been trying different approaches to using DAP (Dog Appeasing Pheromones) as used by The Dog’s Trust. Although I can’t claim it has been a scientific trial we have had some very good results. It will help us build on our success last year when we managed to persuade some very reluctant guests that kennels are not all bad!

If you have had difficulty finding the right kennels for your dog then please give us a ring. We offer a free “sleepover” familiarisation stay for dogs booked for a week or more and are also happy to work with you to make sure that your dog will settle in.
