From Shrewsbury (Journey time 25 mins)
Take the A488 Bishops Castle Road. Stay on the A488 through Minsterley and into Plox Green. Take the next left to Snailbeach and then follow the road through Snailbeach, Stiperstones, Tankerville and Pennerley. This will take you up to a long straight road at the end of which is the Bog Mine Visitor centre on your right. The road bends sharpy to the left with a right hand turn signposted to the Minsterley Ranges. Take this turning (although you are actually heading straight on). We are 400 yds on the right hand side.
From Bishops Castle (Journey time 20 mins)
Take the A488 to Shrewsbury. At the Black Marsh crossroads take a right hand turn to Shelve and the Stiperstones. Follow this road all the way to a T junction at the top. Turn right onto a long straight road at the end of which is the Bog Mine Visitor centre on your right. The road bends sharpy to the left with a right hand turn signposted to the Minsterley Ranges. Take this turning (although you are actually heading straight on). We are 400 yds on the right hand side.
