Price

The cost per day or part day for all breeds of dogs is £10.00. For two dogs from the same family sharing accommodation, the charge is £8.50 per dog per day or part day. Single overnight stays are £15.00 for one dog and £14 per dog for two dogs sharing. If you wish to board more than two dogs or if you are booking an extended stay then please contact us for prices. Boarding fees are payable on collection of your dog and that we accept cash or cheques only.

Please note that if any other costs have to be incurred (such as veterinary care) then they may be charged to the owner.

To help make sure that our guests settle in well we offer a free overnight familiarisation sleepover for dogs that are new to us and are booked in for one week or more. Don’t forget to check out our Special Offers page for some great deals.

Other Services

Collect and Return

For owners who are booking their dog in for one week or longer, we are able to offer a collect and return service where we will pick up your dog(s) from your home and return them at the end of their stay. Our standard fee for this service is £20 if the collection and return point are within 15 miles of The Bog. We are able to collect from further afield if required. Please contact us for an individual quotation.

Important Information

We do not accept unvaccinated dogs (including kennel cough) at Nipstone Boarding Kennels. Dogs’ vaccination certificates must be presented on arrival each time your dog is brought to the kennels. Please note that any veterinary fees incurred during your dog’s stay may be charged to you.

Where you wish your dog to share a kennel with another dog from your family, it is your responsibility to ensure that this arrangement is suitable. We reserve the right to separate dogs and charge accordingly if we believe that it is necessary.

Any dog not collected after 14 days from the end of the original booking period will become the property of Nipstone Boarding Kennels unless agreement has been reached with the owner or their representative to extend the booking period. After this period the dog may, at our discretion, be re-homed. Boarding fees will be payable for the full period that the dog is in our care.

Dog owners have, by law, to ensure that whenever their dog goes out into a public place it must wear a collar, with the contact details of the owner clearly marked. Even if your dog is chipped or tattooed, you are still required by law to provide your dog with a collar bearing the correct identification mark. This law is part of the Control of Dogs Order 1992. Failure to comply with this law can result in a fine. We will not walk dogs off our premises if they do not have a collar and tag. They will either be exercised on our land or in our secure exercise area.

Large dogs that cannot be safely controlled on a lead will not be walked but will be exercised in our secure exercise area. This is for the safety of both the dog and our staff.

We understand that circumstances change and you may need to cancel your booking. We ask that you give us a minimum of 48 hours notice if you can. If you do not notify us of a cancellation we reserve the right to invoice you in full. During busy periods, a non-refundable deposit may be required when a booking is made.

Dogs may be collected at an earlier date than has been booked however we reserve the right to charge for the full booked period.
