Looking for the right kennels for your dog?

Nipstone Boarding Kennels is a family run business set in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

  • The kennels have a large, securely fenced grass exercise area and are surrounded by 14 acres of pasture land where we breed and keep alpacas and llamas
  • We walk your dog twice a day as well as regular trips to our exercise area
  • Your dog can bring his or her own bedding, comforter and toys
  • We will feed our own food or you can provide a specific diet
  • We use DAP (Dog Appeasing Pheromones) diffusers in the kennels to help promote a calm and stress free environment
  • We offer a free one night familiarisation sleepover for dogs that are new to us and are booked in for one week or more

Leaving your dog in kennels for the first time is understandably an anxious time for every owner. We pride ourselves on our excellent care and try our utmost to make each dog feel at home and are very careful to ensure that all their needs are met. That combined with regular walks and lots of fuss seems to do the trick.
If you have had difficulty finding the right kennels for your dog then please give us a ring. We offer a free “sleepover” familiarisation stay for dogs booked for a week or more and are  happy to work with you to make sure that your dog will settle in

“having had a few unhappy experiences with kennels, my two Bichons Benji & Frodo have now found a home from home at Nipstone Kennels.  Indeed it is hard to get them to leave!  Our little rescue boy Frodo was very scared of anything unknown but has settled in very happily at Nipstone so that we can go on holiday with a peaceful mind”

Come and see us

We have a ”drop in” viewing policy and welcome visitors to look around our kennels everyday between 10.00am and 4.00pm. You can tell us about your dog and discuss any requirements, concerns or questions you may have. There is no need to make an appointment unless you specifically want to speak to Jayne Patterson, the Kennel Owner .
